Maybe you know everything there is to know and you've been on infinity auditions but are you sure you're doing the right stuff? And if you've never been on an audition and are totally flipping out about what to do, wouldn't it be cool to have some tips about some things you should do? Well Stars Dancewear has a few suggestions that might help you out. Keep in mind these aren't like the greatest audition tips or guaranteed to get you the gig but we've been around for a bit and would like to think we know a few things.

Before The Audition Get some great dancewear from Stars Dancewear – seriously why wouldn't you? Learn the dance people! – The best way to rock the audition is learning about the dance and not just the moves but the the dance itself. Sleeeeep – don't stay up stressing. No need. The night before you should know your stuff. Eat – Have a good breakfast so you'll have energy. That doesn't mean eat a boatload of pancakes. Don't freak out Get psyched up to perform. All you can do is your best, so there is no point in worrying too much. Plan on just going in there and doing your best. One more thing. On average cattle calls just blow. If you can, try, try, try not to go to these.

At The Audition It's not always great to be first or last. The first person may not get a killer score and then by the end the judges may be like, who? And if you're last and have a brain freeze – there's no one after you to help the judges forget. Totally sucks.

If you were taught a combination for the dance please don't try to be a superstar. Do it right and do it well. They're not looking for a show off. You'll have plenty to show your skills later. Turn that frown upside down. Nobody wants to see a grumpy dancer. Remember, you have to do your best but sometimes being the best (or for some girls – thinking they're the best) isn't what gets you in. Dancing isn't robotic – unless you're doing the robot! This is what you love – put that into the dance.
